What's in my University Bag?

So it's that time of year again when all the wonderful lay ins and the staying up super late stops and the early morning begin! University is just about to start (for me) and there is one main important thing everyone needs... THERE UNI BAG! So here's what's in mine...

So for the first few things I have in my bag are my project book, my calculator, my glasses and my pencil case. Project books are super handy for if you have a lot of modules, like myself and you need each section to write notes in for lectures and data/results in for practical sessions. I brought this from Rymans for £2.00 because it was on offer at the time. You don't need a Pukka Pad, you can get cheaper ones from your local Poundland or home bargains for like a pound instead. Next up my calculator, if you do a science base course, university will recommend you to buy a Casio calculator so that you can use it correctly for scientific math equations etc. You can get a standard black one for £6.00 or you could have a blue or pink one for £12.00. You can find them in your local super market such as Asda or in a stationary store. Next up is Highlighters, I can not stress enough how much you will need these in university, they help you revise for your exams and they help you with remembering which information is for watch module. By this I mean you can use the colours for colour coding so for each colour, is a module and categorize information that way. Then if you are doing a course that contains microbiology, you will need a marker pen, I use Sharpie but you can buy cheap marker pens but you need to make sure this is permanent. You need one of these in microbiology so that you can label your agar plates when growing any type of substance such as bacteria and for any other equipment you are experimenting with so that it is labelled as yours (anyone that doesn't just skip through). Then I have basic stuff then like pens, pencils, ruler, eraser, sharpener etc.

Then we have my other essentials, my water bottle and my purse! I always take a bottle of water to uni with me especially if I have a 9:00- 5:00 kinda day because I will start getting headaches during the end of the day if I don't drink enough water. So my cute Love Island bottle is my saviour. Then my wonderful purse, this is where all my loyalty cards and student discount cards are (you can't beat a good discount) and my Costa card is my ultimate go to when it comes to uni, a good cuppa when I get to the café sorts me out a treat!

Then I have my little pamper bag which is like my beauty bag really, I have makeup, deodorant and all that in here! So we have my concealer, so if my makeup fades I can redo it and then set it with my powder. Then I have my lip balm, which we all will need now that the cold weather is coming. Then if you can see it, a little scrunchie for your hair, I work in a Laboratory so I need my hair up every time so I have a spare just in case. Deodorant is obviously an important one everyone needs this in their bag, I use Sanex sensitive deodorant because of dry skin and sensitive skin. Hand cream is nice to have also especially in the cold weather, so I have the wonderful Soap & Glory Hand Food cream which is beautiful.

Then last of all I have my keys, head phones, portable charger and my phone. These my essentials for traveling to uni (obviously not my keys but I need these) but I love listening to music on my way to uni so I use my headphones all the time and also I need to charge my phone on the go so that I can get home with my bus ticket that is on my phone by using the First Bus ticket app. So these are my traveling gadgets. I also take my lab coat to uni but I didn't think I need to show that but may do one day.

So other than girly things that only girls know about, these are the things I take to uni on a daily basis (obviously I take my lunch box but I thought that was boring to show too) I hope you all found this helpful for your organisation for school, college or uni. All this can be handy for all three places.

I hope you enjoyed this blog, I am sorry I have had to start posting at 6:00pm but my uni timetable is late so I will be publishing them on my way home every Monday and Thursday. So that's all for today and I'll see you on my next blog!

Thank you for all of your support guys!

Love Chelsey x
